Project Profile – DWP Caxton 7th Floor Refurbishment

Ventilation grilles,  volume control dampers and secondary ductwork from the ventilation grilles were replaced throughout the floor to ensure the ventilation is equally balanced and provides a ‘feel good’ factor.

Additional fan coil units were installed to suit the revised workstation layout, and the ducting, chilled water and heating services were amended accordingly.

Working in tandem with the above, our electrical team further enhanced the general appearance with the installation of new lighting, together with essential emergency fittings and emergency exit signage. Floor box power outlets were re-positioned to suit the revised layout.

New electrical distribution boards with integral safety over-loads were installed in the main service risers to feed the new and existing retained electrical systems.

Upon completion of the M&E works, testing and commissioning was carried out by our in-house specialist team.
