In 2010, DL M&E Building Services started to be recognized as a major player in the M&E Industry and the company was awarded a significant framework contract with Aldi Food stores Ltd (direct). In order to achieve this high standard of quality, we operate a series of systems described within our quality assurance manual, which are supported by a comprehensive set of operating procedures. All of which are mandatory and conform to the requirements of the nationally and internationally recognized standards of BS EN ISO 9001: 2015. DL M&E Building Services strives to ensure that quality is the responsibility of all staff throughout the organisation, that each employee is competent in their particular task and has a clear understanding of the importance of quality assurance and its relationship to the overall success of the company.
Our senior management team is fully aware of the statutory and regulatory requirements that the customer is governed by. The importance of statutory and regulatory requirements is communicated throughout the organisation, so that we achieve continual improvement ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. An appointed Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the daily monitoring of the quality system and reports to the Managing Director, who is ultimately responsible for the success of the system’s operation. The Quality Assurance Manager has the authority and organisational scope in recognising quality problems and has the autonomy to initiate and recommend a review, or provide an alternative solution.
At DL M&E Building Services we have a fully qualified team of electricians and mechanical engineers. All our employees are registered with the CSCS industry card scheme and are Asbestos Awareness UKATA certified. We have an impeccable health & safety record and understand that safety is of paramount importance within the construction industry. We take our responsibilities in this area very seriously. Our SHE advisor has a wealth of experience and a high profile throughout the industry. He is constantly on hand to ensure we fully comply with our health and safety statutory responsibilities.
DL M&E Building Services has extensive experience of ‘roll out’ programmes, which we have undertaken for many of our clients, including numerous critical resilience sites across the UK.
The business lends itself to out of hours working within operational retail and corporate properties, where the projects can be subject to unexpected programme change ‘at the drop of a hat’. Our client response is exceptional and we manage change without fuss or disruption.
