Our Operations Director, Gary McCormack, became a dragon in the den for the day, as part of a judging panel, to find the very best in M&E innovative products to help our industry move towards NetZero. We are delighted and honoured to have been invited to the Shard, London by Wates Group and Lloyds Banking Group to take part in this fantastic initiative to promote green technology products.
After a few months hearing from 200 sustainable businesses from all over the country, pitching for a share of a £150,000 investment, we were delighted to hear the 5 winners announced. A fantastic achievement out of many high quality applications to the competition. The winners will now trial their products in buildings to help make operations greener.
Innovations included a zero-emission boiler (ZEB), an air-powered shower, a smart air Brock, wireless self-powered IoT monitoring, and a thermal-imaging based home energy survey app.
We look forward to seeing the impact of these innovations through the recognition of their sustainability value by Lloyds Banking Group and Wates Group.
