About the Role
We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Temporary Administrative Assistant to support our busy Commercial Department, primarily assisting our team of Quantity Surveyors. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is confident handling commercial documentation and supporting project-based work in a fast-paced environment.
The role is temporary full-time (6-12 months, with potential extension, working Mon-Fri).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting Quantity Surveyors with document preparation and management
- Data entry and maintenance of commercial records
- Compiling and formatting data for Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
- Uploading and organising project files and contract documentation
- Processing purchase orders, subcontractor applications, and invoices
- Updating trackers and commercial logs (e.g. variations, payments, RFIs)
- General administrative support to the Commercial and wider M&E teams
Requirements:
- Previous admin experience (preferably within construction, M&E, or commercial environment)
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable:
- Experience using document management systems or construction platforms (e.g. Viewpoint, Procore, etc.)
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
