On the 9th July 2022, staff at DL M&E took two teams across two different paths to the Snowdon summit to raise vital funds for Derian House. Derian House cares for children and young people across the North West, who are diagnosed with a life threatening or a life limiting illness or condition. The Hospice has some of the best facilities in the country, but costs £5.7 million to run every year, with only 17% of that funded by the government.
Team 1 tackled the Llanberis path, which is a difficult 9.1 mile trail located near Llanberis Gwynedd. The trail offers the chance to see beautiful scenery and wildlife but is not for the faint of heart.
Team 2 took on the Horseshoe Circular, which is a 7.4 mile loop trail also located near Llanberis Gwynedd. This is considered a challenging route and loops around the lake.
