Project Profile – M&E Industrial Testing & Maintenance

A large manufacturer located in Greater Manchester has contracted DL M&E Building Services for several years to provide ongoing reactive and proactive maintenance. As this is an ongoing contractual relationship, the client shall not be disclosed.

As part of the proactive package, we undertake pre-planned maintenance throughout their manufacturing plant, this includes planned maintenance to the air-conditioning equipment, emergency lighting systems and fire alarm systems. We undertake electrical testing throughout the entire premises and PAT testing to their portable appliances. The client takes advantage of our reactive package, when required. DL M&E Building Services send a mechanical or electrical engineer within 4 hours to the sites. We have and will always send the relevant trade to ensure that the fault is rectified as soon as possible.

Our service does not only provide reactive maintenance to the general M&E items, but we also provide cover for the factory lines, ensuring that when issues occur due to power loss or controls failure, they are back up and running as quickly as possible. Through our ongoing and mutual relationship, we have also undertaken installation works to the plant.

We always meet our contractual duties and will continue to do so. Ensuring that the building is compliant with statutory requirements and providing the best working environment for the company’s employees.
