Project Profile – Corporate Office, Chester
As the floorspace had been reconfigured to provide additional workstations, brewing facilities and washrooms, the power supplies and ventilation needed to be amended to suit the new layout.
New power supplies were installed throughout the site as was new LED lighting with PIR sensors. These new installations required careful co-ordination to ensure workstations were provided with the required services. Fire alarms were also installed in all the newly formed areas of the building.
Once it was established that the existing ventilation, domestic water and waste services were adequate, they were extended to feed the additional washroom and brewing facilities, all provided with local isolation to aid future maintenance.
To accommodate the reconfiguration of the open office space fan coil units were relocated, with ductwork and heating services altered to suit. Where new segregated offices were formed, ventilation systems have been provided with cross talk attenuators to ensure privacy is maintained.
